In his article, Punter Southall Aspire CEO and author Steve Butler considers the impact of the sweeping reforms in the pension market on savers in recent years, including the gradual demise of defined benefits pensions, the introduction of auto-enrolment and Pensions Freedom, which have made the pensions world more complex to navigate – particularly for those approaching retirement.
