Altadicta, a London marketing, design and engagement agency, has been appointed by leading NHS Trusts, city and county councils and a hospice in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland to launch a new multi-media recruitment campaign to attract health and social care professionals and address the skills shortage.

The campaign branded, ‘Y/Our Future’ is the first time leading health and social care employers in Leicestershire and Rutland have joined forces to recruit talent across the region and share the cost of recruitment.  Together, the partners have 38,000 employees  – and will recruit for healthcare jobs.

Altadicta was appointment following a successful healthcare and nurse recruitment campaign it ran for NHS Trusts in Northamptonshire called, ‘Best of Both Worlds,’ which focused on recruiting healthcare professionals to live and work in Northamptonshire to boost recruitment rates.

The Y/our Future campaign is focused on recruiting health and social care talent to hospitals, LOROS hospice and to work in the community in Leicestershire and Rutland. The campaign will promote the benefits of living and working in the region, including the great housing, top quality schools, diverse culture and the work life balance enjoyed by many staff.

The campaign features strong branding, something Altadicta are known for.

Altadicta designed the branding and created the Y/Our Future website, the main recruitment hub where jobs from the partners are hosted. Interviews and stories from doctors and nurses who have relocated and are enjoying living and working in Leicestershire will also feature on the website. The campaign is also supported by PR and social media advertisements, poster campaigns and collateral including welcome packs for new recruits and flyers and pop ups for University career fairs.

Mary O’Neil, Director at Altadicta says,

“We’re delighted to be running the Y/Our Future campaign in Leicester. This is our second NHS campaign which unites employers in their recruitment of health and social care talent.  This joined-up, trail blazing approach is a model that has been hugely successful for Northamptonshire and we anticipate similar success for Leicestershire.”

The NHS Northamptonshire ‘Best of Both Worlds’ campaign has reached 2 million+ specifically targeted healthcare professionals, attracted 22,000 people to the job feeds and built a social media following of 3,500 healthcare professionals. The campaign also achieved over 70 pieces of PR coverage across medical, national and regional press, with interviews for spokespeople in broadcast and healthcare press. It also boosted attendance rates at a series of recruitment open days by as much as a 60%.
